Overview

 

UPE5600-HSTO is an IP65 outdoor 30W high power PoE Splitter for use in Power over Ethernet (PoE) systems. With Ethernet Input (data + power) port and Output (data only) port, UPE5600-HSTO may split power from existing LAN cable and convert up to 12VDC/2A for power hungry applications such as Wireless Access Points (AP), Security Cameras and IP Phones. The internal current limit, short-circuit and overload protection are implemented to provide up to 12VDC/2A for use of DC output power. By using UPE5600-HSTO, both data and electrical power can be delivered to a non-PoE Ethernetenabled device from a single Cat.5 Ethernet cable.
 

UPE5600-HSTO can also work in pair with UPE5600-HIT (High Power PoE Injector) to deliver up to 12VDC/2A for use of high power devices such as 18W Security IP Cameras. UPE5600-HSTO itself is powered by UPE5600-HIT and so requires no separate power connection in the middle of the cable, making it extremely easy to connect and power IP cameras. UPE5600-HSTO terminal units complement any PoE injector unit or midspan switch to provide small to medium business setting a complete end-to-end PoE solution.
 

The advantage of PoE function is to provide power and data over existing network cables. It eliminates the need for electricians or extension cords while installing new expanding equipments. Therefore, UPE5600-RTO can save space, reduce cables and eliminate the requirement for the dedicated electrical outlets to lower the installation cost. This PoE technology is suitable for small business, school campus, bookstore, coffee shop with internet hot spot, or enterprise network environments.
