Overview
The UPE2300-PE is a high performance Gigabit Ethernet adapter
designed for PCI Express bus, which can increase bandwidth,
reliability, performance, and more functionality than standard PCI
network interface. ExpressCard technology replaces conventional
parallel buses for I/O devices with high-speed serial interface-PCI
Express. This new technology allows throughput at rates up to
2.5Gbps.
With supporting connection speed up to 1000Mbps, the UPE2300-PE
boost your networking throughput easily. It allows users to transfer
high-bandwidth needed files faster and hence get a real efficiency
improvement. Advanced power management and Wake-on-LAN support allow
the network administrator to boot the PC from anywhere on the
network.
The UPE2300-PE also support Nway auto-negotiation that detects the
networking speed (10/100/1000Mbps ) and the duplex modes (Full/Half)
automatically. Auto MDI/MDI-X is also supported to alleviate the
effort choosing crossover cables. It allows users connect to other
network devices including Hub or Switch without any concern about
crossover or non-crossover UTP cables.
The UPE2300-PE supports major operating system such as Windows XP,
2000, and 2003, guaranteeing compatibility with existing server and
workstation environment. With advanced features, latest high-speed
architecture, and reliability, UPE2300-PE is the excellent device
for any network that requires a high performance Gigabit network
adapter at an affordable price.
