Q01:
After install UEC2300-64T on windows 2000 Pro SP3, PC reboot every
time when we try to shutdown it?
This
maybe not a problem of Gigabit Tamarack LAN card. We tested under
Windows 2000 environment and it works normally. If this is O.S issue
cause this problem. There are suggestions as following:
1.Turn
off the O.S.'s ACPI Power management of the Power management of
"Control Panel" and try it again.
2.Remove
the LAN cards driver completely. Delete all oem* files at the
path /WINNT/INF and reinstall the LAN card driver again. The driver
will not remove by itself automatically if you plug LAN card too
many times.
3.At
worse case, reinstall your O.S or change other PC. Observe the
situation happen again or not.
There
is a real case when change resume PME to disable in wake up event
from the mother board BIOS and PC seems to stop without rebooting
now!
